Jessica Bennet has been the Priestlands School Counsellor for almost 10 years. Over that time, Jess has worked with very many students; this has often included meeting and working with parents.

Being very aware that the Covid pandemic has had a negative effect on the mental health of many people, and in particular on children, Jess has made a short video which we hope will help parents of all children, and in particular of children whose poor mental health is negatively affecting their attendance at school. In the video, Jess talks about how hope, resilience and adaptability, role modelled by us as parents, can have a hugely positive impact on our children.
