Photography

Students create a coursework portfolio in Years 10 and 11.  The portfolio will be made up of a series of projects that we guide the students through.  The areas of study with the course are: portraiture, location photograph, studio photography, experimental imagery, installation, documentary photography, photo-journalism, fashion photography.

Students needs to use both lesson time and homework time to produce the high quality of work that is required from the course.

As part of the course students will be invited to attend trips to London, Southampton and the surrounding area to broaden their photographic experience of the world around them and to develop a sense of place.
